Neobolos

Summary

The Neobolos font is a decorative typeface inspired by the demonic sigils found in magical and demonological texts such as the Ars Goetia and Grimorium Verum.

NO ACTUAL SIGILS ARE USED AS CHARACTERS IN THIS FONT.

Neobolos characters are composed of geometric arrangements of lines, dots, and circles mixed with shapes that are thought to have magic powers, giving them the look, feel, and overall aesthetic of ancient magical sigils. Characters are connected at the midline, so each word creates the impression of being a single complex mystical symbol. The font is designed to be stylized but recognizable, and readable with a little practice.

The Neobolos font is perfect for props and illustrations involving magic, spells, and incantations, especially for those scenarios where you want people to be able to figure out what the words are saying… but you don’t want to make it too easy for them!
